Anyone else feel like landlines are going the way of the dinosaur? Like we'll be telling stories to our grandchildren of phones that didn't work unless they plugged into a wall and they'll think we're making it up?

Had an old phone in an office that was broke in half but still clung together by the wires. It worked fine but you could not phone out. It was even a rotary.

... I remember using a rotary phone. It was when I was about 3-5 years old, but I remember using one at my grandparents' house and at the house I spent most of my elementary school years at. Then we got a touchtone.

The only rotary phone I can remember was in a vacation cabin our neighbors had up in a mountain lake in Colorado. I wonder if it's still there...
